Bike Commuting Checklist -Weekdays on Two Wheels

Bike commuting is the gateway drug to becoming a full-time cyclist. It’s you, your bike, and the daily ritual of beating traffic while you’re getting a daily workout at no extra charge. Plus, you’ll save some money while doing it.

This list covers the essentials for folks riding to work 3-5 days a week. Whether you’re on bike lanes, mixed traffic, or that sketchy stretch where the sidewalk becomes your friend. You’re not training for the Tour, but you are showing up to meetings without looking like you just ran a marathon.

If you’re just starting out, don’t miss the extra tips found in my bike commuting newbie guide.

Bike Commuting Checklist Covering All Your Daily Needs

This checklist isn’t a god’s stone-written words to biking commuters, but it’s been built to cover all the necessities while also giving you some great additional gear/tips that can be helpful. It all depends on your needs, your route, and what setting you’ll be riding in. The goal is for you to not miss something that may be critical to your circumstances.
